Original and Chipotle make these burgers delicious and flavoursome.

·         8oz minced beef
·         1 large onion, diced
·         3 tsp Tabasco® Brand Chipotle Sauce
·         1oz breadcrumbs
·         Salt and pepper, a pinch of each to taste
·         1 tomato sliced
·         1/2 red onion, sliced
·         Handful of rocket leaves, washed
·         50g feta cheese
·         4 ciabatta, toasted
·         Watercress, optional
·         For the chunky salsa
·         1/2 tablespoons olive oil
·         1/2 small onion, chopped
·         1/2 green pepper, chopped
·         75g canned tomatoes, coarsely chopped
·         1/2 tblsp lime juice
·         1/2 tsp Tabasco® brand Original Red Sauce
·         Pinch salt
·         1/2 tblsp fresh coriander or parsley, chopped


1.     Combine the minced beef in a bowl with the finely chopped onions. Add 3 tsp of Tabasco® Chipotle sauce, with salt, pepper and breadcrumbs.
2.    Divide mixture into 4 and shape into burgers.
3.  Grill on a medium heat till cooked through and the juices run clear. Approximately 10-12 minutes.
4.    To serve, place on toasted ciabatta and add rocket, tomato, 1 tbsp salsa and red onion. Crumble over the feta and garnish with watercress.
5.   Optional: Stir 1/2 tsp Tabasco® Red or Chipotle through 2 tbsp mayo or ketchup. Dollop on as desired.
6.   To make the salsa: heat oil in a large heavy saucepan over high heat. Add onion and bell pepper and sauté 5 to 6 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until liquid is reduced and salsa is slightly thickened, about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in lime juice, Tabasco® Sauce, and salt. Cool to lukewarm and stir in coriander.
